Just Lodges
We are delighted to announce another partner on board - Just Lodges. www.justlodges.com has a database of over 1,100 holiday lodge and log cabin developments that provide a range of holiday accommodation in the UK for sale and rent around the coast and in the countryside. Also available is a database of manufacturers, insurers and finance companies. Based in Maidenhead in Berkshire, Pauline Bruton, who has been in the business for 40 years, runs Just Lodges with her daughter Nina. Just Lodges first went online in 2004 and rapidly became the premier one stop resource for all things to do with holiday lodges and log cabins in the UK. The explosion of the holiday lodge industry within the UK has seen a substantial rise in selling to ‘buy to let’ investors and in order to cater for their needs, www.justlodgeholidays.com was brought online in 2009, to advertise individual lodges and log cabins for self catering holidays.
.
Visitors thinking of having a holiday in a lodge or log cabin will have the opportunity to discuss with Just Lodges staff issues such as location, suitability for families and children of different ages, parks that are near leisure activities such as fishing, golfing or swimming, or those that are suitable for a romantic break or a honeymoon hideaway.
Those wishing to buy a lodge or log cabin will be able to find out what is involved and the options for use - for example is it for holiday or residential use, letting or retirement. Advice will also be available for potential buyers about decisions they need to make like which location to choose, the facilities that are required, the size and specification of the lodge, and the price and method of payment.
Lodges will be available to see at the show.

Radio Caroline
Radio Caroline was Britain's first commercial radio station, circumventing restrictive legislation in 1964 by transmitting from a ship at sea. The explosion of new music, made England the music capital of the world.
Government hostility toward Caroline, caused a lengthy battle that endeared the station to the British public and awarded it a legendary status. In 1989 the rules of engagement changed, when in a final attempt to end the nuisance of Caroline, the UK and Dutch governments jointly raided the station in International waters and, in effect, wrecked it.
After a dramatic shipwreck soon after, Caroline had to find a fresh direction and embraced new technology They now broadcast to nine million homes nationally on Sky Radio Channel 0199 and via multiple web streams at www.radiocaroline.co.uk. The station is about to be carried via Internet Protocol TV and hopes to be additionally available to 15 million non Sky TV sets by 2011.

8 Events at Royal Windsor Racecourse We couldn't be working with a better venue team. Not only are they efficient and supportive but they also understand the requirements of a big live event and go that extra mile to ensure our exhibitors, partners and visitors are well looked after. Here's what they have to say about us:
"We are extremely pleased to be the host venue for the British Leisure Show and being part of the newest and freshest major event in the area is a fantastic opportunity for us. We believe the show will play a key role in attracting 1000’s of new visitors to the area as well as creating new business opportunities for the local leisure industry, helping to showcase Windsor's diversity as a destination. Given the current economic climate, it’s refreshing to be able work with a positive, likeminded team to innovate and keep moving forward defying the trend, as times like these are ones where great opportunities exist to create something special. This show has a formula for success, with a range of activities and it’s definitely going to be one to watch. As the home of the British Leisure Show, we’re looking forward to Spring 2010!" www.windsor-racecourse.co.uk |

The Royal Oak
The Royal Oak is a Michelin star restaurant which has managed to retain the warmth and atmosphere of a traditional English pub. Sir Michael Parkinson and his son Nick Parkinson took over the pub in Paley Street, Berkshire seven years ago. The menu has been rightly described as good British food cooked well. Nothing too fancy, all of the attention is dedicated to the quality, flavour and presentation of the food rather than the frills. Head Chef, Dominic Chapman, is fastidious about using only the best quality seasonal ingredients and whenever possible buys locally. The Oak boasts a diverse and extensive wine list which has something to offer all palettes. The service is second to none, professional, attentive but at the same time discreet.
For the month of March 2010 The Royal Oak is offering a special lunch menu for £17.95 for two courses, £21.00 for three. For more information please visit www.theroyaloakpaleystreet.com.
