The British Leisure Show are delighted to welcome Active Retreats to the Show.

Their chalet, Les Hirondelles, is nestled in its own extensive and secluded grounds, and situated just outside the authentic mountain village of La Clusaz, southern France.
For your convenience a chauffeur driven car will collect you from the airport and bring you directly to the chalet. If you require any special arrangements the House Manager will be on hand, and can organise pre-booking of ski apparel to guided walks and trips to nearby Lake Annecy, all you have to do is ask.
The chalet has comfort and convenience catered for with all 12 bedrooms en-suite, a TV room, computer room, library, three lounges and many little snug’s dotted around. A beautiful large kitchen and dining area where your private chef holds court preparing delicious meals much of which is sourced from the local farmers.
And that’s just the chalet; the grounds are widespread and private for quiet afternoon teas al fresco to relaxing in the sauna or hot tub housed in the unique Shepherd Huts and also offers a variety of massages, beauty and Zen wellbeing treatments.
Summer Months Activities
With many routes of The Tour de France having passed by the chalet over the years the bespoke biking packages offered during this famous event is an absolute must for any cycling fan. And for those lovers of wine, have you ever considered taking that love and appreciation further?
Wine education courses will be running during the summer where you can turn one of your favourite hobbies into a WSET Level 1 Foundation Certificate in wines. So next time you have a dinner party you can impress your guests with your knowledge and wine selections!
Winter Months Activities Located in the unique mountain landscape of the Aravis massif, affording excellent snow records and a great choice of skiing areas with over 200km of
Ski tuition with Yvan Dorier, former French National Ski Team competitor, US Pro Tour Racer and International ski coach, and his team will have you one ski ahead straight away! You’ll find all Active Retreat instructors fluent in English, passionate about the sport and teaching.
And to keep you on your ski’s they’ll bring lunch out to you, so all you have to do is sit back, relax and ‘chill out’ at one of their snow picnics – I can see you could easily get used to this!
